Gazprom Space Systems signed Contract with Bentley Walker

Dmitry Sevastiyanov, Director General Gazprom Space Systems and Anthony Walker, CEO, Bentley Walker signed the Contract at IBC 2014, held in Amsterdam now, under which Bentley Walker will use Yamal-402 satellite capacity for broadband service delivery in the African area.

For that purpose Bentley Walker deployed a new Hub iDirect Evolution. 9m antenna located in Aflenz Teleport of Telekom Austria will be applied to uplink the signal to Yamal-402 satellite.

Bentley Walker is one of the first companies that started satellite broadband services. Now this company provides these services in Ku- and Ka-bands mainly in Africa and Middle East and it is one of key end user oriented companies.
