Red Bull Air Race was broadcasted via Yamal-402 satellite

For the second year in a row Kazan becomes one of the eight cities in the world, hosting the stages of the Red Bull Air Race. As a year ago, Yamal-402 satellite capacity has been used to broadcast the competitions from Kazan to Europe.

For the second year in a row Kazan becomes one of the eight cities in the world, hosting the stages of the Red Bull Air Race. As a year ago, Yamal-402 satellite capacity has been used to broadcast the competitions from Kazan to Europe.

Yamal-402 Northern beam capacity allowed SES to organize a live broadcast of the race, as well as news feed and qualifying flights for European countries. The high-definition TV signal was uplinked from a reportage station in Kazan and downlinked in Israel.
