Gazprom Space Systems at ITU Telecom World 2011 Show

Gazprom Space Systems participated in the 40th global telecommunication and information technologies exhibition ITU Telecom World 2011. The company exhibited as a part of the national stand of the Russian Federation.

Gazprom Space Systems participated in the 40th global telecommunication and information technologies exhibition ITU Telecom World 2011. The company exhibited as a part of the national stand of the Russian Federation.

The largest world forum in sphere of communication and information technologies took place during October 24-27, 2011 in Geneva.

This year 237 companies from 41 countries took part in the forum, held under the auspices of the International Telecommunication Union. More than 6 500 people, including 330 heads of states and governments, ministers, ambassadors, heads of regulatory agencies, top managers of the largest companies took part in the exhibition and conference.

The largest stand in the Palexpo expocenter, where the forum was held, was the Russian one. The country was presented by such companies as Rostelecom, RSCC, Gazprom Space Systems, Radio Research and Development Institute, Central Telegraph and others.

In the exposition dedicated to the company business Gazprom Space Systems represented its governmental and social missions (TV/radio programs distribution over the whole country territory, participation in educational projects), showed its export potential (about 30% from the total volume of services the company provides on the international market), and also presented Yamal satellites constellation program development, which is implemented to meet the needs of the Russian gas industry, the country in whole, and also to the benefit of the international cooperation.
