The Сapabilities of Gazprom Videoсonferencing System are Increased

Gazprom Space Systems presented to the Gazprom (Investor) three portable suites for Gazprom videoconferencing system.

After the acceptance test on the territory of Gazprom Space Systems teleport in Dolgoe-Ledovo, Moscow region, the correspondent report was signed.

The current Gazprom videoconferencing system connects Gazprom's HQ with its 40 subsidiaries. Some sites are connected via terrestrial communications, and 25 sites are provided with videoconferencing via Yamal-201 and Yamal-202 satellites.

Thanks to the videoconferencing system the technology of administrative control through video conferencing becomes more popular in Gazprom on the practical level and it is used both by the top management and separate departments and associated companies.

Integration of the portable suites to the video conferencing system will increase its capabilities and will allow to organize efficiently video conferencing between Gazprom management and its main gas producing and gas transporting companies from almost all Russian and CIS countries territories. Also, if necessary, these portable suites will allow the efficient providing telephone communication, data transmission and Internet access from regions.
