Children's Radio started broadcasting via Yamal-201 satellite
On May 20 Gazprom Space Systems started test broadcasting of the Children’s radio (Children FM radio program) via Yamal-201 satellite located at the 90°E orbital position.
The Children’s radio is the only Russian radio station fully devoted to children.
Twenty-four-hour broadcasting of the Children’s radio consists of kid's songs, performances, cognitive, developing and entertaining programs for children and informational and educational programs for parents.
Broadcasting via Yamal-201 will significantly expand the radio channel’s audience, as the satellite service area covers a territory with 98% of the population of Russia.
