GSS signed contract with ICCES (Saudi Arabia) at CABSAT 2014 show

During CABSAT 2014 show in Dubai Gazprom Space Systems signed the contract with a well-known company ICCES from Saudi Arabia.

During CABSAT 2014 show in Dubai Gazprom Space Systems signed the contract with a well-known company ICCES from Saudi Arabia. According to this contract the Russian satellite operator will provide Yamal-402 satellite capacity in the European Beam, which has a good coverage of Europe and Middle East. ICCES will use this capacity to provide Governmental structures and corporate sector (mainly oil and gas) with satellite telecommunication services (fixed links, links on demand, point-to-point links) in the Middle East region.

Contract was signed by Dmitry Sevastiyanov, Director General of Gazprom Space Systems, and by Mohammed Al Nafjan, CEO of ICCES.


Gazprom Space Systems is one of the two Russian national satellite operators and is part of a group of about fifty satellite operators existing in the world
