Gazprom Space Systems and ChinaSatcom agreed to develop cooperation between the companies

On the 4th of September China Satellite Communications delegation headed by its president Mr. Chao Zhuo visited Gazprom Space Systems headquarter and Telecommunication Center in Shchelkovo, Moscow region.

On the 4th of September China Satellite Communications delegation headed by its president Mr. Chao Zhuo visited Gazprom Space Systems headquarter and Telecommunication Center in Shchelkovo, Moscow region.

GSS Director General Dmitry Sevastiyanov showed the guests space and ground infrastructure of Gazprom Space Systems and introduced the company’s activities on provision of satellite capacity, telecommunications and geoinformation services.

The parties discussed situation on the satellite telecommunications market in China, Russia and worldwide, shared information about the companies’ development strategies and agreed to investigate the opportunities for cooperation based on the companies’ current and prospective space assets. 


Gazprom Space Systems is one of the two Russian national satellite operators and is part of a group of about fifty satellite operators existing in the world
