Satellite Russia & CIS: satellite communication has good prospects to take its rightful place in 5G ecosystems, IoT and the digital economy

The conference was held in a hybrid format, offline and online. In total, the event was attended by over 350 delegates from Russia and abroad. The conference was attended by representatives of Kazakhstan, Belarus, Western Europe, Brazil, Israel, etc. The conference is the only independent event on satellite communications and broadcasting, Earth observation and space technology production in Russia. Once again, Satellite Russia & CIS brought together representatives of companies working in this area - satellite operators, satellite service providers, spacecraft manufacturers, industry experts.

There were discussed issues of the market state and the prospects for its recovery. The general opinion of the participants is that satellite communications have good chances to take their rightful place in 5G ecosystems, IoT and the digital economy. GSS supported the conference, considering it to be an important event for the satellite business and the space industry as well as a useful event in terms of obtaining new information and opinions from the expert community to formulate its corporate plans.
