Gazprom Space Systems participates in the Russian Week of High Technologies

The Russian Week of High Technologies is taking place in Moscow in June 15 - 18. It brings together the international exhibition Svyaz-2021, the Navitech-2021 forum, the CSTB Telecom & Media forum and expo, and offers an extensive business program.

Gazprom Space Systems acted as a partner of the Sphere Congress, which is being held within the framework of the XIV International Navigation Forum.

The plenary session was attended by Yuri Urlichich, First Deputy General Director of Roscosmos State Corporation, Dmitry Sevastiyanov, Director General of Gazprom Space Systems, Konstantin Smaznov, Deputy Director of the Radioelectronic Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Bakanov, Director of the Digital Development Department of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

The plenary session was dedicated to the development of space services, technologies and systems, the Sphere program and new services for the digital economy of Russia and the world market.

Dmitry Sevastiyanov introduced the possibilities of Gazprom's space technologies for the state, economy and society. Affordable communications and the Internet, television, monitoring of infrastructure and environmental facilities, control of greenhouse gas emissions - this is just a part of what space can offer for the development of Russia. Dmitry Sevastiyanov also noted the importance of public-private partnerships in the implementation of capital-intensive space projects as well as for the space services market extension.

Igor Kot, Deputy Director General for Business Development of Gazprom Space Systems, spoke at one of the Congress sessions about Gazprom's space projects included in the Sphere program. These are new communication satellites "Yamal", satellites for Earth Observation - "Smotr" and the Assembly Integration and Test Facility, being under construction.
