June the 1st is known as International Children's Day. Gazprom Space Systems celebrated this event inviting employees’ children to the Telecommunication Center in Shchelkovo.

June the 1st is known as International Children's Day. Gazprom Space Systems celebrated this event inviting employees’ children to the Telecommunication Center in Shchelkovo.

More than 120 children at the ages from 7 to 17 accepted the invitation. They visited the Mission Control Center of “Yamal” satellites, the Aerospace monitoring Center, took a walk around the antenna field, watched an interesting educational movie about communication satellites, listened to exciting stories of company’s specialists how everything is arranged and works.

The children participated in entertaining contests and quizzes. One of Telecommunication Center walkways became a platform for demonstration of kids’ artistic talents, it turned into an entire picturesque canvas. Sports area was not empty as well, and fish inhabiting the fire-pond got a double portion of feed from the happy kids. The summer weather boosted cheerful mood.
