Gazprom Space Systems at the KITEL 2011 Show
Gazprom Space Systems deployed its exposition at the 18th Central Asian International Telecommunications and Informational Technologies Exhibition - KITEL 2011 held from May 25 to 27 in Almaty (Kazakhstan).
Gazprom Space Systems deployed its exposition at the 18th Central Asian International Telecommunications and Informational Technologies Exhibition - KITEL 2011 held from May 25 to 27 in Almaty (Kazakhstan).
44 companies from 8 countries took part in the exhibition, among them Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, France and South Korea. The event was officially supported by the Ministry of Communications and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhtelecom, National Association of TV and radio broadcasters of Kazakhstan.
Gazprom Space Systems returned to this venue after several year break. because the reason of this return is the company currently implement the large-scale investment program on the constellation replenishment and development and soon will be able to offer the countries from Central Asian region high-quality capacity of its new satellites. Gazprom Space Systems is confident of the potential of this region and, therefore, provided for the beams to serve the territory of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries on the Yamal-300K, Yamal-401 and Yamal-402 satellites under construction.
Gazprom Space Systems has a long history of cooperation with telecommunications companies in Kazakhstan. Yamal-201satellite currently operating at 90 E orbital position is very popular among cable TV operators and population of Kazakhstan thanks to high power performance supplying reliable reception of TV signal throughout the country, and a great number of channels broadcast via this satellite. Launch of the Yamal-300K and Yamal-401 satellites that will be located at the same orbital position will significantly enhance the capabilities of television and telecommunications companies of the Central Asian region for TV broadcasting and providing various services.
