Summary of Participation in CABSAT-2015: Gazprom Space Systems Sales Growth in Middle East and African Markets

Cabsat-2015, the largest exhibition in MENA region, has finished. Gazprom Space Systems team headed by Dmitry Sevastiyanov, Director General, was focused on signing new contracts for use of Yamal satellites capacity and establishing partnership with key players in international market.

Cabsat-2015, the largest exhibition in MENA region, has finished. Gazprom Space Systems team headed by Dmitry Sevastiyanov, Director General, was focused on signing new contracts for use of Yamal satellites capacity and establishing partnership with key players in international market.

The exhibition showed that the satellite capacity offer in that region continues to grow. At this event twenty satellite operators offered capacity of about fifty satellites intended for Middle East and African area. Arising competition is more and more influencing the satellite capacity price.

However, under this circumstance Gazprom Space Systems managed to increase international sales during this exhibition. New contracts for use of Yamal-202 and Yamal-402 satellite capacity were signed and preliminary agreements for further development of cooperation with some customers and partners were reached.
