Gazprom Space Systems – a Regional Satellite Operator of the Year

On the World Satellite Business Week, taking place now in Paris Gazprom Space Systems is recognized by the world community as the best regional operator who has shown the most impressive growth in 2013 (Regional Satellite Operator of the Year).

Analysts of the authoritative companies and Euroconsult, Satellite Finance and Space News publications highly appreciated achievements of Gazprom Space Systems by a number of criteria, the basic of which were successful development of new markets and income growth.

Thanks to commissioning of the new satellites Yamal-300К and Yamal-402 Gazprom Space Systems has expanded the geography of business, entering the African market and increasing the presence in the Middle East, while the revenue of the company in 2013 in dollar calculation has grown by 29% and made 104.7 million dollars.

At the Award Ceremony Dmitry Sevastiyanov, Director General of Gazprom Space Systems, said: «Accepting this award with gratitude, I want to note that the achievements which are noted by the authoritative experts, have become the result of daily laborious work on providing satellite services to our dear clients and considerable efforts to enlarge our orbital group. We are not going to stop on this way, and hope, that in future we will have what to demonstrate to the international telecommunication community».
