GIFAS delegation visited Gazprom Space Systems

The representatives of French Aerospace Industries Association (GIFAS) attended the Telecommunication center of Gazprom Space Systems.

The representatives of French Aerospace Industries Association (GIFAS) attended the Telecommunication center of Gazprom Space Systems.

The delegation made acquaintance with company’s activities on the space systems development and operations.

Gazprom Space Systems demonstrated its experience in space projects implementation, some of which were carried out in close cooperation with French companies, as well as the possibility of space services delivery. There was discussed development of cooperation in space industry.

GIFAS representatives visited the Mission Control Center of Yamal satellites and looked around the infrastructure, that ensures provision of telecommunication and geo-information services.

Groupement des industries françaises aéronautiques et spatiales (GIFAS) unites 366 members from major prime contractors and system suppliers to small specialist companies. They cover the full spectrum of skills, including the development, production and maintenance support of aerospace systems and equipment.
