Expanding cooperation with Bentley Walker
10.03.2015 at Cabsat-2015 Exhibition in Dubai Gazprom Space Systems and Bentley Walker (UK) signed a new contract for use of Yamal-402 satellite capacity.
This capacity will be used to implement educational projects in Nigeria and also to deploy communication links for government agencies and medical institutions in Central African countries.
An 11m antenna in Austria is applied to operate via Yamal-402. Europe-Africa cross-connectivity is used. The services are provided via iDirect and Hughes technologies.
Bentley Walker further intends to develop cooperation with Gazprom Space Systems. With this purpose the company is upgrading its ground infrastructure and in particular plans to deploy a new Newtec hub.
The contract was signed by Dmirty Sevastiyanov, Director General, Gazprom Space Systems and Mathew Walker, Managing Director, Bentley Walker.
