SingTel partners with Gazprom to extend greater reach in Middle East and Asia

Asia’s leading communication group, Singtel has entered into a new agreement with Russian Satellite Operator Gazprom Space Systems (GSS) to augment its satellite capacity over Middle East and Asia region.

Asia’s leading communication group, Singtel has entered into a new agreement with Russian Satellite Operator Gazprom Space Systems (GSS) to augment its satellite capacity over Middle East and Asia region. This is to support the increased demand of backhauls for mobile operators and communications channels for enterprise industry in the region.

Lim Kian Soon, Head of Satellite, Singtel said: “We are very happy to include Gazprom Space Systems’ satellite capacity in our service portfolio. This collaboration has enabled Singtel to enhance our service diversity, thereby further improving the quality of service to our customers. Gazprom Space Systems has demonstrated their excellent professional support throughout this collaboration and our customers are very happy with the service level we provided. We definitely see more potential for future collaborations by both companies”.
