The Main Design Bureau of Gazprom Space Systems develops and builds space systems. This activity includes development of space systems, creation of satellites payloads, construction of ground control facilities, teleports and satellite communication and television networks.

Setting up, in addition to the Main Design Bureau of Gazprom Space Systems, of a modern spacecraft assembling, Integration and test facility on the basis of the advanced technologies of spacecraft assembly, integration and tests will allow in future to reliably replace the orbital constellations of Yamal and SMOTR systems with competitive satellites of the Russian development.
