A special structure - Design Bureau - develops and creates space systems and their elements, and also ground telecommunication and information systems in Gazprom Space Systems.

Computer-aided design system (CAD), which has full number of capabilities and workbenches to automate the cycle of design, processing and production of products, engineering data and document management in full, is integrated in the company. This systems fits with all up-to-date requirements, placed on PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.

CAD system provides for design, development and manufacturing cycles of space and ground infrastructure products.

The system allows carry out these works using 3D modelling, to generate different geometric and properties variants and provides for work in parallel for many specialists with one product model. The company also has a special center, fitted with special test and control equipment, designated to run all kind of electric tests of satellite payloads and TT&C equipment.

Production, testing and repair of satellite communication ground facilities are carried out on special workplaces, created in the telecommunication center in Schelkovo.

On the basis of infrastructure of space and ground systems development and construction Gazprom Space Systems carries out its part of Yamal-300 and Yamal-400 investment projects realization, where the company is technically responsible for the creation of payloads, on-board and ground TT&C equipment, NOC and ground telecommunication facilities.

Moreover, this infrastructure allow the company to offer its services for development and construction of space systems’ elements and for deployment of satellite communication and TV networks for other customers.
