To generate the products and to provide aerospace monitoring services for Gazprom Group, oil and gas companies and other customers Gazprom Space Systems established and develops aerospace monitoring infrastructure which includes:
- unmanned aerial vehicle infrastructure;
- station for receiving information from Earth observation satellites;
- facilities for subject processing, storage and delivery of aerospace monitoring information.
Unmanned aerial vehicle infrastructure infrastructure is used for:
- getting raw spatial data from sites and territories remote sensing by small unmanned vehicles;
- development of products and services on sites and areas surveying and monitoring on the basis of the raw spatial remote sensing data and their delivery to the customers.
The receiving station of Gazprom Space Systems is designated for making up surveying plans upon the customers’ orders analysis, for receiving, registration and processing of the relevant subject data obtained from the involved Earth observation satellites, for the production, storage and delivery of the ordered data to the customers. The station is located at the new Telecommunication Center in Schelkovo.
The dedicated ground facility designated for getting, processing and delivering the subject information shall receive the spatial data from the unmanned aerial and space-based monitoring vehicles and perform all types of the data processing for the final users. The facility is located at the main office of the company in Korolev.
